Cyber Monday 2009

While this is a site dedicated to Black Friday, we can't forget about our sister day Cyber Monday. That happens on the Monday after Thanksgiving and it's a day where you can get another round of bargains online. The biggest stores that participate in Cyber Monday each year are typically Buy.com, Overstock.com, Amazon.com, and Best Buy. Wal-Mart had a small Cyber Monday sale last year and I think they will do it again this year.

Black Friday Plans At The Biz!

We just got an email from the guys over at BlackFriday.biz and they filled us in on some of their plans for this year. First, they are going to launch a new and improved shopping list. They also said they will allow you to download PDF of the ad scans before anyone else this year. They claim to be the first and we'll be tracking to see if they are. Good luck guys!

It's still May, but Black Friday 2009 is right around the corner! I did some quick research and noticed that there are a couple of new black friday sites out there this year. The first site is BlackFriday.org, which appears to be a very strong site that will compete against Gotadeal, BlackFriday.info, and Bfads. Also, it looks like Black Friday Online received a site make-over, which is great for them.

For those that are unaware, Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving. On that day, retailers across America offer huge discounts on a wide variety of products. The various BF sites out there allow you to skip the lines and just buy these items online, plus they give you cool features like shopping lists and ad scans. I am really looking forward to this year's holiday season and I'll be giving up to the second coverage of all the top BF events!

Black Friday 2008 is here! It's been a while since we have updated this blog, but I wanted to post on some of the latest black friday rumors that I heard. First, I would like to welcome the new black friday sites to the fold since our last update (in 2007!!). Since then, a ton of sites appeared, including an official black friday site, a canadian black friday site, and a black friday 2008 website. They are all worth checking out at least once to see if you like them.

As far as ads, it looks like Ace Hardware and Harbor Freight are here now, along with a toy catalog from Toys R Us. Since we are already on late October, I think other big stores will come out soon.

I will try to update this black friday blog all season this year! Email me your suggestions or other deals and sites you find!

Black Friday 2007 is still ten months away. Until then, here is a blast from the past. KeepCash has the old Black Friday ads from 2005 still online. It's interesting to see what items were available back then and for what price points. You can find the info in KeepCash's Black Friday section.

Black Friday 2006 has ended and it was a success for both consumers and retailers. Again this year it looks like the Black Friday items started showing up on Thanksgiving morning around 1am eastern time. There was another big push of items online on Black Friday around 5am, and then the final push on Cyber Monday.

The holy grail of Black Friday ads was just released. BlackFriday.info posted the BestBuy Black Friday ad along with the scans for it. There are some AMAZING deals here so this is worth checking out.
